I have always admired Roland Neuwirth and his music – even before he did his acclaimed cameo in Mother's Day. Therefore, it was a pleasure as well as an honor to make a film about his interpretation of Franz Schubert's famous song.
To me, Roland's new, intelligent, and sensitive lyrics for the „Winter Journey“ cycle let the composer's genius shine even brighter.
