Actually my first film as a director – until then I had only made segments for TV shows. To celebrate the occasion I insisted on 35mm, studio props, costumes made to measure etc.
Maybe that is why the song stayed #1 for three weeks in the Austrian charts, and even reached #6 in their international edition.
Composed by Lothar Scherpe with lyrics by me, Loretta was awarded the second Gold Record for our band Wiener Wunder.
